Introduction


This research seeks to understand the phenomenon of non-governmental organizations(NGOs)participating in the many different fields and their effects on human rights at global level.
NGOs play an important role as actors in civil society by creating a link between individual citizens and the government.The significance of human rights NGOs has increased tremendously , with growing awareness about human rights and environment etc.
NGOs carry out a variety of functions, such as advocacy , human rights education, publication of matter relating to human rights and violations, and putting pressure on Government.
They are also important for the role they play in creating and expanding the human rights discourse, by taking into consideration the various types of human rights violations the world over.
Amnesty international and human rights, two of the most prominent INGOs in the world today,have been discussed in this research. But NGOs in India act in a more localized manner, but they too deal with a wide variety of human rights issues.
Many professors of social sciences opined that the hate came from results of global wars especially second global war causes that the nations accompany with their rebuilding or repairing, gradually as same as NGOs and some INGOs integrate their cooperation and interaction.
intenational committee of the Red Cross, that was established in the year 1863 by Henri Dunant, a physician of Swiss origin is known to be the first INGO.There was a tremendous increase in the number of INGOs in the twentieth century, particularly due to the fact that the United Nations charter had extended recognition to NGOs, under Article 71.Some of the prominent INGOs that came up were the International Commission of Jurists, Amnesty International, the anti-slavery society, etc.
